Mirja Kivimäki

Mirja Kivimäki has a long history of experience in journalism and news reporting. Mirja started their career in 2007 as a Moscow Correspondent for Suomen Tietotoimisto STT and MTV News. In 2011, they joined MTV Oy as a Morning News Host and Journalist. Over the years, Mirja has taken on various roles within the company, including Producer and Foreign News Journalist specialized in Russian Affairs. From 2017 to 2021, they served as a Special Correspondent on Foreign & Security Policy. Currently, Mirja is the Head of Foreign News for the Maailma & Kotimaa -toimituksen at MTV Oy.

Mirja Kivimäki received their Master's degree in Journalism and Mass Communication from the University of Tampere 1925-2018. Mirja attended the university from 1997 to 2006.
