Petteri Ryynänen

Petteri Ryynänen has significant experience in the media industry, with their most recent role as the Head of Sports Production at MTV Oy, a position they have held since 2011. In this role, they are responsible for technical production and production design for both MTV3 and C More Finland. Prior to their current role, they worked at Nelonen (Channel Four Finland) for over a decade, where they served as the Visual Director and Head of Online for the news department.

Petteri Ryynänen pursued their education in a chronological order as follows. In 1991 to 1994, they attended the Tampere School of Art and Media where they completed the Media Degree Programme, specializing in photography and lighting cameraman. Moving forward, in 1997, Petteri attended TAMK University of Applied Sciences, The School of Art and Media specifically for the Director, multicamera program, though the degree obtained is not mentioned. In 2002 to 2004, Petteri enrolled at Mercuria Business School & Sanoma Group, where they obtained a Specialist Qualification in Management. Building on their education, in 2005 to 2006, Petteri pursued TV production studies at the Adulta Radio and TV Institute, specifically completing the TV-producer program. Most recently, from 2020 to 2023, Petteri has been studying part-time at JAMK University of Applied Sciences, specializing in Sport Business Management, and they will be awarded a Master of Business Administration - MBA degree upon completion.
