Miroslav Zahorec

Miroslav Zahorec serves as Vice Chairman of the Board and Chief Operating and Financial Officer at MTX Group a.s. since October 2016, previously holding the role of Vice Chairman of the Board and Chief Production and Financial Officer. From November 2013 to November 2016, Miroslav was Chief Strategy Officer at Transtech Ltd and also served as Chief Operating Officer and Member of the Board of Directors at OOO Vagonmash during the same period. Miroslav's earlier positions include Managing Director and Chairman of the Board of Directors at CIAS, and Chief Financial Officer at CIAS HOLDING, a.s. Miroslav's professional journey began in finance management at OMZ and project finance management at ŠKODA, KOVÁRNY, PLZEŇ. Academically, Miroslav holds a Master's degree in Economics and Management from the University of West Bohemia, complemented by studies at Prague University of Economics and Business, Marquette University, and Technische Hochschule Nürnberg Georg Simon Ohm.
