Hardik Mehta has extensive work experience in the field of tax and transaction services. CA Hardik is currently serving as the Head of Tax at Mubadala Energy, where they are responsible for overseeing the tax matters of the entire group across 11 countries. CA Hardik'srole involves ensuring timely and accurate tax compliance, providing tax advisory services to the business and deals team, and managing tax risks within the group.

Prior to their current role, Hardik worked at EY as a Senior Manager in International Tax and Transaction Services. CA Hardik also held the position of Tax Manager and Assistant Manager during their tenure at EY. In these roles, they played a key role in project management, SPA and tax model review for a major IPO project. CA Hardik ensured timely delivery of reports as per client requirements.

Hardik also gained valuable experience at PwC Kuwait, where they served as an Assistant Manager. CA Hardik assisted clients, particularly in the oil and gas sector, in developing tax-efficient structures for inbound investments in Kuwait. CA Hardik also provided advice to multinational banks and custodians on their tax obligations and potential liabilities in Kuwait.

Before joining PwC Kuwait, Hardik worked at KPMG India as a Senior Executive. CA Hardik'sresponsibilities included advising offshore investment funds on alternative investment structures in India, reviewing transaction documents, and providing tax and regulatory advice.

Hardik began their career at N. A. Shah Associates LLP as an Associate. CA Hardik advised companies on inbound and outbound investment strategies, prepared cash flow forecasts and business plans, and contributed to knowledge updates for clients.

During their early career, Hardik served as an Article Assistant at G. P. Kapadia & Co. CA Hardik assisted non-resident Indians with their income tax filing requirements and provided advice to banks and financial institutions regarding portfolio investment schemes. CA Hardik also assisted clients in winding up companies under easy exit schemes.

CA Hardik Mehta, ADIT has a Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.) degree from Narsee Monjee College of Commerce and Economics, completed between 2004 and 2008. From 2006 to 2011, they obtained the Chartered Accountant degree from The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, specializing in Accounting and Finance. In 2022 to 2023, they are pursuing the ADIT degree in Taxation from ADIT International Tax. They also hold additional certifications, including a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Mumbai and an Advanced Diploma in International Tax from the Chartered Institute of Taxation (CIOT).
