Benoit Hesnard

Benoit Hesnard is an experienced executive in the finance and investment sectors, currently serving as Executive Director at Mubadala since July 2014, where responsibilities include overseeing various investment strategies in liquid equity, private equity, venture capital, direct credit, and structured credit. Prior to this role, Benoit held the position of Director - Head of MENA Underwriting at Mubadala GE Capital PJSC from July 2009 to June 2014, focusing on financing non-O&G industry growth in the MENA region and Turkey. Benoit's career began at GE Capital as Associate Vice President specializing in healthcare investments across Europe, followed by roles at Calyon and HSBC Corporate Finance, which involved corporate finance and private equity in the healthcare and real estate sectors. Benoit holds a Master’s degree in Mathematics and IT from ENSICAEN and an Ms in Finance from ESCP Business School.
