Maher Chekir

Maher Chekir is an accomplished finance professional with extensive experience in private equity and investment management. Currently serving as Senior Vice President of UAE Investments at Mubadala since 2016, Maher has previously held several key roles within the organization, including Vice President and Senior Associate. In addition to this, Maher joined Moove in March 2024 as a Member of the Board of Directors, focusing on mobility technology and vehicle ownership solutions. Maher also holds positions on the boards of LeasePlan Emirates LLC, Mobiserve Holding, and Invest AD, contributing to audit, risk, and compliance committees. Prior to these roles, Maher gained experience as an analyst for Morgan Stanley and Lazard. Maher holds multiple advanced degrees, including an MSc in Economics and Public Policy from Sciences Po and École Polytechnique, as well as an MSc in Statistics and Financial Engineering from ENSAE ParisTech.
