Dave McMurray

Dave McMurray has a diverse work experience in the field of user experience design. Dave started their career as a User Experience Designer at nib health funds in 2011 and worked there until 2015. After that, they worked as a freelance User Experience Designer and Front End Developer under their own name from 2008 to 2020. In 2015, they joined Mudbath as a User Experience Designer and progressed to the role of UX Design Lead in 2019. In 2020, they were promoted to Senior User Experience Designer and currently holds the position of Lead Experience Designer at Mudbath since November 2021.

Dave McMurray's education history includes a Graphic Design Diploma from TAFE NSW in 2010. Prior to that, they obtained a Graphic Design Certificate IV with a specialization in Typography from TAFE NSW in 2009. In addition to their formal education, Dave has also obtained several certifications, including "Get Your Product Used: Adoption and Appropriation" from The Interaction Design Foundation in February 2023, "Accessibility: How to Design for All" and "Emotional Design — How to Make Products People Will Love" from Interaction Design Foundation (IxDF) in March 2022, "Mobile User Experience (UX) Design" from The Interaction Design Foundation in February 2022, and "Effective Manager Training" from Manager Tools in June 2020.
