Guus Klaas

Guus Klaas is a seasoned Geographic Information Systems Consultant with extensive experience in GIS architecture and solutions, currently employed at MUG Ingenieursbureau since May 2023. Previous roles include GIS Architect at Ordina and Solutions Architect for ProRail, where design and oversight for an ArcGIS-based platform for noise pollution computation were key projects. Further expertise was gained at Eneco as a Software Architect, focusing on GIS and data processes, and at Stedin, where Guus contributed to the transition to Web-GIS within a scrum team. Additional experience spans various consulting positions that emphasize ESRI-GIS related work, spatial data infrastructure, and technology integration in sectors such as oil and gas. Guus holds a Bachelor of Science in Business, IT, and Management from NHL University of Applied Sciences.
