Dr. Aamir Bokhari

Dr. Aamir B.'s work experience includes various roles in the field of IT and information security. Dr. Aamir is currently serving as the Global Head of IT and Information Security Divisions at Mujin, Inc. since 2022.

Prior to that, from 2018 to 2022, Dr. Aamir B. worked as the EU-JP Project Leader and Principal Researcher at Yokohama National University, where they were involved in a collaborative project on the development of SMART applications and multi-layered security technologies for future Smart Cities.

From 2018 to 2022, they also held the position of Head of Consulting at IP-NET Systems, where they provided consulting services.

Dr. Aamir B. served as the Principal Advisor to the CEO on information security and cybersecurity implementation, compliance, and certifications at healthPrecision from 2018 to 2022.

From 2015 to 2018, they worked as the Director of Information Security and Assurance at Adventist Health System, where they designed and implemented information security and data security programs.

Dr. Aamir B. has experience working at Deloitte from 2014 to 2015, where they led multiple cross-industry projects on cybersecurity program development and implementation.

Dr. Aamir also gained experience at The University of Dallas from 2012 to 2013 working in the IT Communication Center.

From 2008 to 2011, Dr. Aamir B. served as the Head of IT and Security at Professionals Inc.

Earlier in their career, they worked at Nortel from 1999 to 2008, holding various positions such as Regional Manager, Manager - IT and Telecom, and Enterprise Team Leader - Asia Pacific.

Dr. Aamir B. started their career at Nichimen in 1993, where they worked as a Network Specialist (Architect) and System Engineer (SIer) until 1999.

Overall, Dr. Aamir B. has extensive experience in IT and information security, with a focus on areas such as project management, research, consulting, and program development and implementation.

Dr. Aamir B. earned a Ph.D. in Informatics from Yokohama National University, where they studied from 2018 to 2021. Prior to that, they pursued a Master of Science (MSc) in Cybersecurity at The University of Dallas from 2011 to 2013. Dr. Aamir B.'s education journey started with a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Electrical & Electronics Engineering from the University of Engineering & Technology Peshawar, which they completed from 1988 to 1992.
