Sanjay Basu

Sanjay Basu currently serves as Deputy Team Leader at Mukesh & Associates, overseeing the architectural and engineering design for three tertiary hospitals and four secondary care hospitals funded by JICA since February 2019. Previous experience includes a position as Professor of Architecture at Bharath University and as VP Projects at Arihant Foundations and Housing Limited, where responsibilities included project design, documentation, estimation, and planning focused on residential development. Sanjay Basu also held the role of General Manager of Architecture at GMR Group, responsible for design development and compliance, and served as Chief Architect at L&T ECC EDRC, emphasizing design control and material selection. Career beginnings occurred at MECON Limited, where growth from Junior Architect to AGM Architecture took place. Sanjay Basu holds a PG Diploma in Design and Theory of Concrete Structures and Structural Engineering from Annamalai University and a Bachelor of Architecture from Bengal Engineering College.
