Connie Fan

Connie Fan has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. In 2017-2019, they worked as a Chinese Tutor at the University of California, Davis, where they provided one-on-one instruction and practice in the Chinese language. In 2018, Connie also had an internship at World Trading Co., Ltd. as a Digital Marketing Strategy/CRM Intern, where they worked on email marketing campaigns and created social media posts to increase organic reach for Japanese beauty products. In 2020, they worked at Boston University AdLab as a Strategist and later as the Director of Strategy, overseeing research and strategy across multiple client accounts. Connie conducted primary and secondary research, defined insights from target audience research, and crafted creative briefs. In 2021-2022, they worked at Biolumina as an Associate Strategist, conducting competitive and promotional audits, consolidating findings from social listening and market research, and organizing an internal campaign resource database. Connie's most recent role is as a Planner, Insights + Action at Mediahub Worldwide, starting in 2022.

Connie Fan's education history begins in 2012 when they attended Saratoga High School. Connie then pursued their undergraduate studies at the University of California, Davis from 2015 to 2019, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in International Relations and Japanese.

In 2016, Connie Fan furthered their education at Waseda University as a Summer Student. During their time there, they focused on studying Japanese Economics and Japanese Popular Culture.

Continuing their academic journey, Connie Fan enrolled in the Boston University College of Communication in 2019. Connie completed a Master of Science degree in Advertising in 2021.

In addition to their formal education, Connie Fan obtained a certification in the Japanese-Language Proficiency Test (N1) in January 2019. This certification was obtained through the institution JEES - Japan Educational Exchanges and Services.
