Lacey Nein has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. In 2021, they worked at Mediahub Worldwide as a Creative Technologist in the R+D department, where they focused on researching and implementing new and creative technologies such as AR/VR and web3. Lacey also joined Xapa in 2022 as an Advisory Board Member.

Prior to that, Lacey worked at San Jose State University from 2018 to 2021, taking on roles such as Technical Manager for the SJ Story Map project, where they gathered stories and art projects from the community to build an inclusive narrative of San Jose. Lacey also served as a Teaching Associate, developing and teaching curriculum for a Digital Media Art course that covered various topics including web development and creative coding.

In 2018, Lacey worked as a Technology Instructor at Singularity University, where they taught Fortune 500 professionals how to incorporate new and emerging technologies into their businesses. Lacey created demos and facilitated the integration of technologies such as AR/VR, computer vision, and 3D printing.

Lacey also has experience working as an Instructor at Digital Media Academy, where they taught 3D printing and modeling to different age groups during a summer camp. Lacey also held positions at San Jose State University as a VR Management Intern and Teaching Assistant for AR and Web Development classes.

Before entering the technology and education fields, Lacey worked at Banfield Pet Hospital from 2008 to 2018. Lacey started as a Veterinary Assistant, where they provided quality care for patients and performed dental prophylaxis. Lacey later became a Shift Lead, guiding the team and ensuring effective communication with clients and associates.
