Stephen Simpson

Stephen Simpson has had a diverse work experience. Stephen currently holds the role of Design Director at Mulpha International and Casual Lecturer at Western Sydney University, both starting in 2023. Stephen is also the Chairperson at Materials & Embodied Carbon Leaders' Alliance since January 2023. Previously, they worked at Mirvac from 2017 to 2023, starting as a Senior Project Design Manager and then transitioning to become the Project Design Management | Manager - Office & Mixed Use. Their longest tenure was at Scentre Group, where they served as the Regional Manager Design Projects from 1996 to 2016.

Stephen Simpson attended the University of Technology Sydney from 1989 to 1995, where they earned a Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch.) degree in the field of Architecture. Stephen also obtained a certification as a 500 Women in Property Sponsor in 2023 from the Property Council of Australia.
