Amy Taney has extensive experience in human resources, holding various leadership positions throughout their career. Their most recent role was as the Vice President of Human Resources at MCC Label, starting in April 2022. Prior to that, they worked as the Human Resources Director at Hammer Packaging from April 2019. Amy also served as the Chief Human Resources Officer at Highland Hospital of Rochester NY from August 2016 to February 2019, where they implemented strategic HR initiatives and talent management programs. At Paychex, they held the position of Sr. Manager, Human Resources Business Partner from October 2014 to August 2016, where they streamlined HR processes and led employee relations initiatives. Amy also worked at ITT Corporation in various HR roles, including Director of Talent Management and Executive Development, Director of Human Resources for Corporate Functions, Manager of Inclusion & Diversity North America, Manager of Internal Six Sigma Black Belt Projects, Manager of Foundry Operations, and Manager in Training Program. Throughout their career, Amy has demonstrated expertise in talent management, leadership development, inclusion and diversity, and process improvement.
Amy Taney received their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Business/Corporate Communications from the State University of New York at Oswego in 1995. Prior to that, they obtained an Associate's degree in Humanities/Humanistic Studies from Finger Lakes Community College between 1991 and 1993. In 2009, Amy earned a Master's degree in Global Human Resources Leadership from Rutgers University. Additionally, they obtained certifications in Global Human Capital Strategist (GHCS) from the Human Capital Institute in 2013 and Six Sigma Black Belt from Value Based Six Sigma in 2003.
