Michael Foote

Michael Foote is the founder of Foote & Associates Consulting and serves as Counsel and Director of Operations and Counsel at BANYAN Utility since October 2020. Prior to these roles, Michael held the position of Senior Director and Counsel at Zego (Powered by PayLease) from April 2018 to October 2020. Michael's experience also includes serving as Director of Regulatory Services at RealPage, Inc. from April 2008 to January 2018 and General Counsel and Regulatory Affairs Manager at ista North America from 2004 to 2008. Earlier in Michael’s career, positions were held as an Associate at The Overton Law Firm and White & Jankowski LLP. Michael earned a Doctor of Law (J.D.) focusing on Energy, Environment, and Natural Resources Law from the University of Denver - Sturm College of Law and a Bachelor of Science in Pre-Law Studies from the University of Nevada, Reno.
