Yung-Hsuan Ashley Tan

Yung-Hsuan Ashley Tan is a skilled interpreter and translator with extensive experience in medical and language interpretation. Since July 2017, Yung-Hsuan has been a freelance interpreter for multiple organizations, including Catholic Charities of Boston and MultiLingual Solutions, Inc. Yung-Hsuan also served as a medical interpreter at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center from March 2018 to July 2023. Prior to these roles, Yung-Hsuan was involved with All Girls Allowed as a Chinese Media Coordinator, translating significant content to advocate for gender equality. Yung-Hsuan's educational background includes a Certificate in Medical Interpreting from Found in Translation, a Post-Undergraduate Diploma in Language Interpretation and Translation from Simon Fraser University, and a Bachelor of Business Administration with a focus on Entrepreneurial Leadership from Kwantlen Polytechnic University.
