Jorge Turcott has extensive experience in finance and leadership roles.
Jorge is currently working as the Chief Financial Officer at MultiMoney since 2023. Previously, they worked at Digital@FEMSA as the Head of Finance @ Spin by Oxxo from 2022 to 2023. In this role, they revamped the calculation of Spin's product unit economics and implemented a process of Zero-Based Budgeting.
Before that, Jorge was the Director of Finance at kubo.financiero from 2019 to 2022. Jorge played a key role in raising USD 27.5 million in capital during the company's Series B round. Jorge also planned and structured the company's annual budget and acted as a finance business partner with different departments.
Jorge also gained valuable experience during their tenure at Coca-Cola FEMSA as an MBA Summer Project participant, where they consolidated and assessed information to propose cost-saving strategies. Jorge also worked at PepsiCo as the Capital Budgeting Leader, where they led and coordinated the evaluation and justification of numerous projects.
Additionally, Jorge has experience as a Financial Analyst at Casas Geo, a Process Engineer at Ixe Grupo Financiero, and a Management Assistant Intern at SESELEC.
Throughout their career, Jorge has demonstrated their ability to implement financial strategies, raise capital, and contribute to the growth of the companies they have worked for.
Jorge Turcott has a diverse education history. Jorge obtained a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering from Tecnológico de Monterrey, where they studied from 2005 to 2010. In 2009, they also participated in an international exchange program at Grenoble INP - Génie industriel, focusing on industrial engineering.
In 2011, Jorge pursued further education in the field of International Business, earning a Master's in International Business (MIB) from La Trobe University, where they studied from 2011 to 2012.
Jorge's interest in the business world led him to pursue an MBA degree. Jorge enrolled in the IPADE Business School in 2017 and completed their Full-Time MBA in 2019. During their MBA program, they further enhanced their knowledge by participating in an international exchange at the University of California, Berkeley, Haas School of Business in 2018.
Aside from their formal education, Jorge Turcott also obtained a certification in Applied Financial Mathematics and Introduction to Stock Markets from Bolsa Mexicana de Valores in May 2008.
