Gil Orbach

Gil Orbach has extensive work experience in hardware and engineering roles. Gil is currently the Head of Hardware & Engineering at Sightful, a position they have held since June 2021. Prior to this, they worked at oggii. from 2015 to 2021 as the VP R&D. In this role, they led the program management and product development of a low-cost IoT device for dogs to detect diseases. Gil managed cross-functional teams and designed product boards for data collection. Before oggii., Gil worked at Seraphim Sense Ltd. from 2014 to 2015 as the HW Lead, where they led the hardware development of a wearable tracker. Gil designed the product board with multiple sensors and oversaw prototype manufacturing. Gil also has previous experience at N-trig from 2006 to 2014 as an HW Engineer and HW Team Leader. In this role, they established and led the failure analysis and production testers team for capacitive touch screens and digital pens. Gil also led multidisciplinary teams in designing test machines for various components and delivered R&D setups and production testers for mass production.

Gil Orbach obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) degree in Electrical Engineering from Afeka, Tel-Aviv Academic College of Engineering, where they attended from 2002 to 2006. Later, they pursued a Master of Science (M.Sc) degree in Technology Management from the Holon Institute of Technology, completing it between 2009 and 2011.
