Lamia Youseff

Lamia Youseff, PhD, MSM, is a distinguished expert in artificial intelligence and machine learning, currently serving as Chairperson and Chief Executive at Jazz Computing since December 2022, focusing on AI strategy, advisory services, and investments. In addition, Lamia holds the position of Tech Advisor and Board Member at MultiOn and has worked as a Research Scientist and Guest Lecturer at Stanford University since 2018. Lamia's previous roles include AI Director of Engineering at Apple, where substantial team scaling and technical capability development took place, and Principal Technology Manager at Facebook, leading efforts for the FBLearner AI platform. Prior experience includes significant leadership roles at Microsoft, where Lamia spearheaded Azure Network Analytics, and foundational contributions to Google Cloud, including engineering and product management for Google Cloud Engine and Google Cloud Storage. Educational credentials include a PhD in Computer Science from UC Santa Barbara, a postdoctoral fellowship at MIT's CSAIL, and a Management Sciences Masters from Stanford University.
