Estefania Mancini

Estefania Mancini has a diverse range of work experience in bioinformatics and academia. Estefania is currently working as a Senior Bioinformatics Manager at MultiplAI Health, where they started in September 2022. Prior to this, Estefania served as the President of Success Toastmasters Barcelona starting in July 2022. Estefania also worked as an Invited Professor in Counselling at BioScience-App Courses from January 2021.

In terms of their academic career, Estefania held the position of Assistant Professor in Bioinformatics at both Universidad Nacional de Rosario (UNR) from January 2012 and Universidad Nacional de San Martín from January 2015 to December 2016. Estefania completed their PHD at Fundacion Instituto Leloir from September 2012 to February 2017, where they studied the mechanisms linking alternative splicing to the regulation of circadian clocks in plants and developed novel sequencing methods for RNA. Estefania also worked as a Postdoctoral Research Scientist at the Centre for Genomic Regulation (CRG) from 2017 to December 2021, where they focused on the development and extension of bioinformatics methods and technologies for modeling splicing and post-transcriptional regulatory processes.

Prior to their academic career, Estefania gained experience as a Bioinformatics Analyst at INDEAR from September 2010 to August 2012, where they analyzed and delivered data obtained from NG sequencing. Estefania also had an internship at INRIA from July 2009 to October 2009.

Estefania Mancini is currently a PhD student at the University of Buenos Aires, specializing in Molecular Biology and Bioinformatics. Prior to this, they completed a Master's degree in Biotechnology at the Universidad Nacional de Rosario, with a focus on Molecular Biology. Estefania'seducation journey began in 2003 and concluded in 2010 with the completion of their master's degree.
