Delivery Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Delivery Lead to join our data engineering team. The ideal candidate will have experience with agile methodologies, and an understanding of data engineering . The Delivery Lead will be responsible for overseeing sprint activities, managing stakeholder relationships, and driving continuous improvement within the data team.  

We need somebody who is passionate about working with people, and has excellent communication, diplomacy and engagement skills. This is not a people management role, the focus is on delivering data solutions from a team of 9 engineers. 

Key responsibilities: 

• Sprint Activities: Lead daily Scrums, sprint planning, grooming sessions, and sprint retrospectives for nine engineers in the data team. Ensure all activities are aligned with agile best practices, and that work is estimated before sprints begin, and sprints are started and completed effectively.

• Stakeholder Management: Maintain constant communication with stakeholders, manage team capacity, and negotiate priorities to ensure focused and achievable sprint goals. Act as the primary point of contact for stakeholder concerns and ensure their needs are addressed efficiently.

• Continuous Improvement: Gather and analyze team velocity stats, monitor progress, and ensure the team is continuously improving in terms of delivery and predictability. Lead initiatives to enhance team performance and address issues identified during sprint retrospectives.

Required skills and experiences: 

• Proven experience as a delivery manager or scrum master.

• Working closely with a team of engineers.

• Expertise in Scrum and agile methodologies.

• Managing delivery using Jira.

• Solid understanding of ETL processes.

• Excellent organizational, communication, and negotiation skills.

• Structured approach to problem-solving and  delivery management.

The salary range is 4000 - 4500 EUR gross monthly but will be higher if you are a senior candidate. Our final offer to you will be set up fairly, considering your skills and experience.
