Job description

The services are provided through three independent business units, which are served by our internal Banking-as-a-Service Growth Platform. We are looking for a skilled professional who will be able to:

  • Develop new features for our in-house lending and banking PHP solutions

  • Collaborate as a team player with highly experienced colleagues

  • Handle the maintenance and troubleshooting of existing systems, as no system is without bugs

Requirements

  • At least 3 years of experience in programming, with at least 1 year working on large-scale projects

  • Extensive knowledge of PHP, with mandatory experience in PHP 8

  • Willingness to write unit, integration and functional tests

  • Strong understanding of SOLID principles and a commitment to adhering to them

  • Experience with some of PHP frameworks

  • Passion for best design and coding practices and desire to develop new bold ideas

  • Familiarity with design patterns and their implementation

  • Understanding the business aspects of implementing projects

  • Knowledge of the agile software development lifecycle

  • Proficiency in English, both oral and written

Nice to have

  • Familiarity with Microservice architecture, event sourcing, distributed systems and asynchronous communication, authentication

  • Basic knowledge of Rabbit MQ/Kafka, Docker, Kubernetes, Kibana, ElasticSearch

  • Hands on experience with development tools: PHP Storm, Gitflow & GitHub Flow, Github, Bamboo/Jenkins/Github Actions, Enterprise Architect, JIRA

  • Experience with Laravel or Symfony, PHP Unit or Codeception

  • Practical knowledge of cache technologies (redis, memcache)

The salary range is 3000 - 4000 EUR gross monthly but will be higher if you are a senior candidate. Our final offer to you will be set up fairly, considering your skills and experience.
