Mara Stine

Mara Stine currently serves as a Student Health Assistant at the Multnomah Education Service District since August 2021. With a robust background in journalism, Mara has been self-employed as a freelance journalist and editor since November 2013. Previous experience includes roles as an Educational Assistant at Portland Public Schools from September 2018 to March 2020, and a significant tenure at Gresham Outlook where Mara worked as an Associate Editor and Staff Reporter from June 1999 to November 2013. Earlier experience includes a position as a Staff Reporter for the Camas-Washougal Post-Record from August 1997 to June 1999. Educational credentials include a Bachelor of Arts in English and Journalism from the University of Oregon and an Associate of Arts in Journalism from Mt. Hood Community College.
