Peter Flagstad

Peter Flagstad has extensive work experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Peter is currently the Head of Project at Muna Therapeutics, a position they have held since December 2022. Prior to that, they worked at NMD Pharma A/S from August 2020 to December 2022, where they served as the Project Director and Director of CMC.

Before joining NMD Pharma, Peter worked at H. Lundbeck A/S for a significant period of time. From May 2012 to August 2020, they were the Lead Project Director, overseeing various projects. Peter also held the role of Project Manager from July 2007 to April 2012, where they led a cross-functional team in the development and lifecycle initiatives of a major pharmaceutical product. In addition, Peter worked as a Project Manager from December 2005 to July 2007 and as a Research Scientist from September 2003 to December 2005, focusing on in-vivo pharmacological support, discovery projects, and research on novel targets for the treatment of schizophrenia.

Prior to their industry experience, Peter was a PhD student at H. Lundbeck A/S & Copenhagen University from August 2000 to August 2003.

Peter Flagstad has a diverse educational background. Peter attended Skolen på Duevej from 1979 to 1989 and Falkonergårdens gymnasium from 1989 to 1992. Peter then pursued higher education at Danmarks Farmaceutiske Universitet, where they earned a Master of Science (MSc) degree between 1994 and 2000. Moving forward, Peter attended Københavns Universitet - University of Copenhagen from 2000 to 2003, where they obtained a PhD in Pharmacology with a specialization in neuroscience. Later on, they attended the University of Basel from 2007 to 2009, completing a Post Graduate Diploma in Pharmaceutical Medicine (ECPM). Peter'seducation concluded at Henley Business School, where they earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from 2009 to 2012.
