Ian Robertson

Ian Robertson has a strong background in IT, beginning in 1999 when they worked as a Network Administrator for Blue River Career Programs. Ian then served as an IT Technician for the Geology Department at Indiana University Bloomington from 2001 to 2002. From 2002 to 2005, they worked as a Network Administrator for the East Asian Studies Center at the same university. In 2005, they joined The Shelbyville News as an IT Manager, where they implemented stable and automated IT practices. Since 2006, Ian has been with Muncie Power Products, Inc., starting as a Network Administrator and eventually becoming the Director of IT in January 2019.

Ian Robertson pursued their Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Indiana University - Kelley School of Business, which they completed between the years 2014 and 2016. Prior to that, they attended Indiana University Bloomington from 2001 to 2005, majoring in Informatics with a focus on Computer Science and Fine Arts (Digital). Additionally, Ian Robertson obtained certifications like Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) from ISACA in August 2020, Certified in the Governance of Enterprise IT (CGEIT) from ISACA in August 2017, Certified ScrumMaster® from Scrum Alliance in August 2017, and CSX Practitioner (CSXP) from ISACA in November 2019. Furthermore, they enhanced their knowledge in Organizational Leadership through their engagement with the Shafer Leadership Academy.
