Manuel Gijón Agudo

Manuel Gijón Agudo has worked in a variety of software engineering roles since 2018. In 2018, they worked as a Project Coordinator for CARNET, where they maintained the company's main website, created and uploaded web pages, and disseminated newsletters through MailChimp. In 2019, they were a Machine Learning Engineer for I-MAS, developing and improving the Proto&Go! platform with solutions based on Machine Learning. In 2021, they worked as a Software Developer for SIRT, developing backend and APIs for different projects, including the BNEW platform 2021. In 2022, they were an Associate Software Engineer for MundiMoto Group, working on automating the production line to increase production capacity and decrease production costs. Finally, they were a Software Engineer for BLING, where they worked on developing, maintaining, and growing the payments platform, and successfully migrated the infrastructure from Google Cloud services to AWS.

Manuel Gijón Agudo has a comprehensive education history. Manuel graduated from Colegio Obispo Perelló with a Bachillerato in 2012. Manuel then attended the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid, where they earned a Grado en Ciencias in Matemáticas in 2017. After that, they attended the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona and earned a Grado en Matemáticas in 2016. Manuel then attended the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya and earned a Master's degree in Advanced Mathematics and Mathematical Engineering in 2019. Manuel also attended Merit School Campus Nord and earned a Nivel A1 in Alemán in 2017. Most recently, they attended the Universidad Nacional de Educación a Distancia - U.N.E.D. and is currently pursuing a Master of Technology - MTech in Investigación en Inteligencia Artificial, which they are expected to complete in 2023. Additionally, Manuel Gijón Agudo has obtained numerous certifications from Coursera and Platzi.
