Claudiu Hidas has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Claudiu is currently the CEO and Co-Founder of Munevo, a company that develops a Google Glass app called Munevo Drive, which enables people with disabilities to drive their wheelchairs hands-free. Claudiu started this role in February 2017 and is currently still active with the company.
In 2018, Claudiu also took up the role of Global Shaper at the World Economic Forum. This role began in June 2018 and is ongoing.
During the same year, Claudiu participated in the BIP-ACCELERATOR program, specifically the Digital Health Edition #5. BIP-ACCELERATOR is a program that promotes open innovation and co-creation of tailored solutions for specific company challenges. Claudiu was involved in this program from June to August 2018.
In 2017, Claudiu was part of the XPRENEURS incubator for high-tech start-ups, Batch #2. This program, based in Munich, supports high-tech start-up teams in turning their technology-driven business ideas into scalable companies. Claudiu participated in this program from September to December 2017.
That same year, Claudiu participated in two healthcare start-up boot camps. The first was at Vlerick Business School in September 2017, and the second at Imperial College Business School in August 2017. These boot camps focused on building business plans and receiving feedback from industry experts and academics.
Before venturing into the start-up world, Claudiu gained experience in IT consulting. Claudiu worked at AdEx Partners from September 2015 to March 2017. Prior to that, they worked at Accenture from August 2012 to February 2015, initially as an IT Consulting Intern and later as an IT Consultant.
Claudiu Hidas completed their education as follows:
1. From 2009 to 2013, they attended the University of Applied Sciences Ansbach, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Business Informatics.
2. In 2011, Claudiu temporarily studied as an exchange student at San Diego State University. During this time, they focused on Management, Computer Science, and Accounting.
3. From 2013 to 2016, Claudiu pursued a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Information Technology from the Technical University of Munich.
4. In 2015, they briefly attended QUT (Queensland University of Technology) for a Master's Degree in Business Administration and Management, General.
Furthermore, Claudiu has obtained additional certification in "Building and Managing a High-Performing Sales Team" from LinkedIn in May 2022.
