Simone Dorsch has extensive work experience in finance and controlling roles. Simone began their career at Flughafen München in 2014 as a Referentin Beteiligungsmangement, responsible for managing and overseeing investments. In 2016, they were promoted to Vice President Corporate Controlling, where they were in charge of the overall financial control functions.
Simone then joined Köln Bonn Airport in 2004 as a Finanzanalystin Controlling, analyzing and managing financial data. Simone was later appointed as Leiterin Controlling in 2009, overseeing the entire financial reporting system and providing strategic guidance to the management team.
In 2019, they returned to Flughafen München as Senior Vice President Corporate Controlling & Investment Management, and in their current role as Senior Vice President Finance and Controlling from 2022, they are responsible for strategic and operational control of the FMG-Konzerns, including investment management, risk management, as well as financial forecasting and external financing.
Simone Dorsch completed their Abitur at Max-von-Laue Gymnasium from 1992 to 2001. Later, from 2001 to 2004, they attended DHBW Mannheim and obtained a Diplom-Betriebswirtin (BA) degree in the field of Dualer Studiengang Betriebswirtschaftslehre.
