Akash Gupta

Akash Gupta is a seasoned professional with over 18 years of experience in the actuarial and insurance sectors. Currently serving as Managing Director and Head for South East Asia in Life and Health at Munich Re since October 2009, Akash has held various leadership roles including Head of Life and Health Asia Valuation and Planning and Corporate Actuary. Prior experience includes managerial positions at Paternoster and Prudential Process Management Services, as well as a role as Business Analyst at GECIS. Akash's academic credentials include a FIAI in Actuarial Science from the Institute of Actuaries of India, along with advanced degrees in Business Statistics and Accountancy from the University of Rajasthan. Additional teaching experience includes positions at Amity University and Khandelwal Institute for Commerce and Mathematics.
