Amit Satpathy

Amit Satpathy, PhD, currently serves as the Director of AI within the Integrated Analytics unit at Munich Re Canada, leading a team focused on applying advanced artificial intelligence techniques to optimize internal processes in the Life & Health sector. Prior experience includes roles as an Applied AI Engineer at Munich Re Canada and as a Computational Scientist at GovTech Singapore, where Amit delivered AI-driven solutions to improve government workflows. Amit has also held positions as a Scientist and Research Officer at the Institute for Infocomm Research, developing image and video analytics solutions for diverse applications. Amit holds a PhD in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from Nanyang Technological University Singapore, where also obtained a Bachelor's degree in the same field.
