Carrie Lam

Carrie Lam is an accomplished actuary with extensive experience in the insurance and reinsurance sectors. Currently serving as AVP & Actuary in Strategy & Client Experience at Munich Re Canada since September 2017, Carrie is responsible for developing client and partner strategies to maintain Munich Re's leadership in the Canadian life and health market. Prior to this role, Carrie spent four years as a Senior Manager at Collins Barrow Toronto Actuarial Services Inc., delivering consulting services to a diverse array of clients, including financial institutions and corporations. Carrie's career began as a Consulting Actuary at Dion, Durrell + Associates Inc. from May 2004 to August 2013. Academic credentials include a Bachelor of Science in Actuarial Science from the University of Toronto and an eCertificate in Marketing Strategy from Cornell University.
