Carsten Topsch

Carsten Topsch has extensive experience in underwriting and business development within the insurance sector, currently serving as the Head of Cyber Underwriting and Business Development for Central, Southern, and Eastern Europe at Munich Re since January 2010. Prior roles at Munich Re included leadership positions in Cyber Risk Underwriting for various regions and as a Senior Underwriter for Casualty Facultative. Before joining Munich Re, Carsten worked at Swiss Re as a Senior Underwriter and Vice President focusing on Casualty Facultative. Carsten holds a Volljurist degree from Kammergericht Berlin, a Juristisches Staatsexamen from The University of Göttingen, and a Master of Insurance Law LL.M. from the University of Münster.
