Loren Riether

Loren Riether is an experienced Information Security Manager at MERS of Michigan since September 2016, overseeing the enterprise-wide vision and strategy for protecting information assets in the retirement benefits sector. Prior to this role, Loren served as a Lead Information Security Engineer at Navy Federal Credit Union, where responsibilities included analyzing and implementing information security systems, and as a Global Cyber Security Engineer for Dell SecureWorks, focusing on security best practices. Loren has held various other roles in cybersecurity and information assurance, including positions at Harris Corporation, Jorge Scientific Corporation, and the U.S. Department of Homeland Security. Loren holds a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology with a focus on Security/Information Assurance from Colorado Technical University and an Associate Degree in Computer Networking from Lansing Community College.
