William Otto began their work experience in 2010 as a Litigation Attorney at Savage, Turner & Pinckney. From 2016 to 2019, they worked as Counsel in the Office of Litigation and Policy and later as Counsel in Enforcement - Market Regulation at FINRA. In June 2022, they joined the Municipal Securities Rulemaking Board as an Assistant Director for Market Regulation.
William Otto began their education in 2003 at Mercer University, where they pursued a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Communication and Media Studies and Philosophy. William successfully completed this degree in 2007. In 2005, they participated in a Study Abroad Program at the University of Oxford, focusing on International Communications, Philosophy, and Literature. After completing their undergraduate studies, William attended Mercer University's Walter F. George School of Law from 2007 to 2010. During this time, they obtained a Doctor of Law (J.D.) degree.
