Francisca Valencia Cid

Francisca Valencia Cid serves as the Head of the Department of Sustainability at the Municipality of Cerro Navia since September 2021. Previously, Francisca held several positions in the Municipality of Maipú, including Coordinator of the Environmental Education Unit and roles focused on environmental planning and project implementation aimed at enhancing community quality of life through socio-environmental initiatives. Francisca also contributed to regional indigenous policy development and research projects related to indigenous culture and urban dynamics. Educational qualifications include a degree in Social Anthropology from Universidad Academia de Humanismo Cristiano and various postgraduate courses in climate change, sustainable waste management, and green infrastructure from Universidad de Chile.
