Ted Swabey

Ted Swabey currently serves as the Chief Administrative Officer for the Municipality of North Cowichan, a position held since November 2017. Prior to this role, Swabey was the Chief Administrative Officer for the City of Maple Ridge from November 2015 to November 2017, and held multiple leadership positions at the City of Nanaimo from February 1990 to 2015, including Chief Administrative Officer, General Manager, and various planning-related roles. Swabey completed a Bachelor of Arts in Geography and Housing at the University of Guelph from 1982 to 1986 and attended Ridley College in 1979-1980, as well as Sir Robert Borden High School in Ottawa.
