Jose Diaz currently serves as a Substitute Teacher at the School Town of Munster and holds the position of Regional Director for the United States Senate, where responsibilities include acting as a liaison to various stakeholders and representing the Senator at civic engagements. Previously, Diaz was a Diversity & Leadership Series Fellow with the Indiana Republican Party, focusing on enhancing minority engagement in leadership, and worked as a Labor Relations Representative and Process Coach at Ford Motor Company, managing labor agreements and supervising union employees. Diaz also has a background as a Maritime Enforcement Specialist in the U.S. Coast Guard. Education includes a Master’s degree from the Harris School of Public Policy at the University of Chicago, a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science and Government from the University of California, Berkeley, and an Associate’s degree in Political Science and Government from Orange Coast College.
