Ian Colwell

Ian Colwell started their career as a US Analyst Intern at GaveKal Capital, LLC in 2012. Ian then worked as a China Analyst Intern at Keywise Capital Management from February 2012 to June 2012. In 2014, Ian became a Consultant I at EXL, where they worked from June 2014 to September 2014. Ian later joined Oracle as a Data Scientist in April 2015 and stayed until February 2016. From March 2016 onwards, Ian worked as a Data Scientist at NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory. Currently, they hold the position of Machine Learning Scientist at Muon Space, starting in April 2023.

Ian Colwell earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Mathematics from Westminster University, where they studied from 2006 to 2010. Ian then pursued further education by attending Oregon State University from 2012 to 2013, focusing on Mechanical Engineering/Robotics, although they did not earn a specific degree at this institution. Ian later attended Northwestern University from 2013 to 2014, where they obtained a Master's degree in Analytics.
