Almer Meza has a diverse work experience in software development and quality assurance.

In their current role at Mural, they serve as a Software Development Engineer in Test (QA Automation) and is responsible for creating automation frameworks based on developers' needs. Prior to Mural, Almer worked at Frávega as an Ssr. IT Analyst for E-commerce (QA automation) where they were responsible for analyzing, creating, automating, and regression testing of test cases. Almer conducted manual and automated functional testing at the back-end, front-end, and mobile levels. Almer used technologies such as Selenium WebDriver, Java, Kotlin, JavaScript, TestNG, GitLab, Spring Boot, MongoDB, Vtex, Kafka tool, Appium, IntelliJ, Cypress, and JMeter. Almer also performed automation tests for APIs including Soap, Rest, and GraphQL. Almer utilized various manual testing tools such as Jira, Postman, Kafka Tool, Robo 3T, Insomnia, and Google Drive. Almer applied agile methodologies like Scrum and Kanban.

Prior to Frávega, Almer worked at Xappia as a QA Automation Engineer, where they focused on automated testing of test cases using technologies like Selenium WebDriver, Selenium Server, Java, Eclipse IDE, TestNG, and JUnit.

Before Xappia, Almer worked at Aventura Race Sportbook, C.A. as a Systems Analyst I. In this role, they audited, supervised, and debugged all information systems within the company. Almer compared data from manual systems with data generated by transactional systems, prepared reports, executed queries, and designed macros and spreadsheets in Excel.

Almer started their career at SIMELBCA as a Systems Assistant, where they gained experience in designing, repairing, and maintaining Logic Control Systems (PLC) and Analog systems. Almer also handled the repair and installation of industrial electromechanical equipment, personnel management, and budgeting.

Almer Meza holds a Magister Scientiarum degree in Informatica gerencial from the Universidad de Oriente in Venezuela, which they completed from 2015 to 2016. Prior to that, they pursued a Grado en Ingeniería in Ingeniería de sistemas from the same university, graduating in 2015 after completing the program from 2008 to 2015. Almer also holds a degree in Ingeniería, although the start and end dates for this degree are not provided.
