Chris Lunney

Chris Lunney has a diverse work experience in various industries such as art, design, and product management. From 2013 to 2014, they worked as a Technical Producer at Integrated Visions Productions LLC. From 2014 to 2015, they served as an Assistant Creative Director at ALGORITHM, where they led creative development for brand activations and live events. In 2014, they also worked as an Assistant Technical Director at Levy Lighting | NYC, managing the production design and execution of brand activations.

In 2014, Lunney co-founded Hovver, a collaborative art practice focused on exploring light, sound, and space. At Hovver, they served as a Co-Founder and Artist, pushing the boundaries of contemporary installation and sculpture. Simultaneously, they worked as a Studio Manager at Yorgo Alexopoulos Multimedia, overseeing operations and directing the production of artworks and shows.

From 2018 to 2020, Lunney was the Co-Founder and Creative Director of Magenta Field, an experiential design studio. Chris designed the business strategy and collaborated with clients to deliver concepts across events, entertainment, and advertising.

In 2019, Lunney transitioned to the role of Creative Director & Strategist at The Umbrella NYC, where they led creative development and business strategy for experiential projects. Chris created custom briefs, presented concepts to clients, and delivered authentic projects that aligned with clients' needs.

In 2021, they worked as a Product Strategist at Left Field Labs, contributing to product strategy. Later in 2021, they became the Director and Lead Facilitator at Collaboration Designers, delivering workshops and guiding participants to think about systems instead of symptoms.

Chris'smost recent role is as a Product & Program Manager at Mural since January 2023, where they oversee the product and program management of the company.

Chris Lunney earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) degree in Design & Technology from Parsons School of Design - The New School, which they attended from 2008 to 2013. In 2012 and 2013, they also pursued studies in Sound and Space at Universität der Künste Berlin. Additionally, Chris has obtained several certifications including Facilitation Certification from Voltage Control in May 2022, Designing A Business from IDEO U in March 2021, and Running An Agency Live from Future London Academy in February 2021.
