Jinjing Shen

Jinjing Shen has a strong background in accounting and taxation, with over 9 years of experience in various roles. Jinjing is currently working at Mural as a Lead Accountant, starting in June 2023. Prior to that, they worked at Prophet as a Senior Accountant from January 2019 to October 2021. Jinjing also gained valuable experience at Andersen Tax as a Senior Tax Associate from July 2017 to July 2018, and as a Tax Associate II from August 2016 to July 2017. Jinjing began their career at ACG Certified Public Accountants as a Tax Associate from July 2014 to July 2016, initially joining as a Tax Intern from January 2014 to April 2014. Jinjing also held positions as a Club Officer at GGU Tax Club from October 2013 to April 2014, and as a Research Assistant at the University of San Francisco from March 2013 to August 2013. Prior to that, Jinjing worked at UC Santa Barbara as a Tax Preparer from January 2012 to April 2012, and as a Grader from June 2011 to April 2012. Jinjing was also the President of the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance at UCSB from September 2011 to April 2012. Jinjing's career started with their role as an Organization Officer at Volunteer For Special Needs from January 2009 to June 2010.

Jinjing Shen's education history shows a progression of academic achievements and specializations. In 2009, Shen attended De Anza College, where they focused on economics. Following this, from 2010 to 2012, Shen pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Economics-Accounting at UC Santa Barbara. Shen then continued their education at the University of San Francisco from 2012 to 2013, earning a Master of Science degree in Financial Analysis. In 2013 and 2014, Shen attended Golden Gate University to acquire a Master's degree in Taxation.

In addition to their formal education, Shen has also obtained various certifications. In 2021, Shen completed several courses on accounting data analytics and visualization, machine learning for accounting with Python, and accounting data analytics with Python through Coursera. Shen also completed a data analytics in accounting capstone project. Furthermore, Shen received the certification of Certified Public Accountant from the California Board of Accountancy.
