Tanja Tinney

Tanja Tinney has diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Tanja is currently working at MURAL as the Global Employment Counsel & Sr. Compliance Manager, joining the company in March 2022. Prior to this, they were with MURAL as part of the People Ops team, focusing on global mobility, legal, and compliance from January 2021 to March 2022.

Before joining MURAL, Tanja served as a German Professor at the Oklahoma School of Science and Mathematics from August 2020 to May 2021. In addition, they worked as an International Legal and HR Consultant from October 2014 to January 2021, providing their expertise in both legal and human resources matters.

Tanja's previous experience includes working at Troy's Sandblasting LLC from February 2015 to February 2019, where they held roles in HR, Accounting, Marketing, and Business Development. Prior to that, they worked at Vienna Insurance Group AG Wiener Versicherung Gruppe as a Jurist/Lawyer from 2011 to 2014. Tanja also worked at Weber Maxl & Partner Rechtsanwälte GmbH as a Rechtsanwaltsanwärter/Associate from 2010 to 2011.

Tanja Tinney attended Karl-Franzens-Universität Graz from 2004 to 2009, where they obtained a degree in Law. Tanja obtained the degree of Magister iuris (JD) during their time at the university. In addition, they spent a year as an exchange student at the University of Oklahoma from 2007 to 2008, where they pursued further studies in Law and obtained a Doctor of Law (J.D.) degree.
