Associate Professor Jess Heerde is currently an Honorary Associate Professor at Deakin University and has held the position of Associate Professor and Principal Research Fellow at the University of Melbourne since February 2017. Additional roles include the Dame Kate Campbell Fellow, NHMRC Emerging Leadership Fellow at the Melbourne Medical School, and multiple Honorary Fellowships at the Centre for Adolescent Health and the Department of Social Work. Jess Heerde also serves as an Adjunct Associate Professor at Curtin University and has extensive experience in research consultancy within child protection and adolescent health. With a PhD in Psychology from Deakin University and a strong focus on adolescent violence prevention and health equity, Jess Heerde contributes significantly to understanding and addressing behavioral issues in vulnerable youth populations.
