Strategy Lead at Murdoch Childrens Research Institute

Sarah Davies has a diverse work experience that spans over two decades. Sarah started their career as a Research Assistant at Murdoch Childrens Research Institute and eventually worked their way up to become a Data Manager. In this role, they were responsible for managing all aspects of data and metadata collection, quality control, and storage. Sarah also served as a Manager for Generation Victoria, where they built relationships and partnerships with researchers, policymakers, and practitioners to drive scientific solutions. Currently, they hold the position of Strategy Lead at the Murdoch Childrens Research Institute, specifically in the Population Health Theme.

Prior to their work at the research institute, Sarah was the Director and Manager of an aged care for-profit service called Emily Lenny. In this role, they led strategic planning and expansion efforts, as well as implementing quality systems across the organization.

Sarah Davies received their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree from the University of Melbourne between 1993 and 1995. Later, from 2009 to 2012, they completed their Master of Public Health (M.P.H.) degree with a focus on Epidemiology and Statistics at the University of Melbourne. Recently, in 2022, Sarah participated in a Social Impact Fellowship program at the Social Impact Hub, specializing in Social Impact.
