Steven McConchie

Steven McConchie is an accomplished research data manager currently employed at the Murdoch Children's Research Institute since October 2022, where responsibilities include defining and delivering a data sharing culture and managing the challenges associated with large-scale data sets. McConchie also serves as an awards judge for the Victorian Public Healthcare Awards since July 2011 and has a notable history with the Victorian Department of Health, where a significant role was played in the COVID response and the development of the InsightsVictoria reporting platform. Prior experience includes over a decade at Epworth, where roles spanned from Group Manager of Clinical Outcomes and Analytics to management of Clinical Institutes and Medical Audit, with a focus on improving clinical quality and governance. Educational qualifications include a Master’s in Health Administration and multiple certifications in Critical Care Nursing from La Trobe University and affiliated institutions.
