Wayne Mather

Wayne Mather is an accomplished IT professional with extensive experience in leadership roles. As the Chief Information Officer at Murdoch Children's Research Institute since July 2013, Wayne has overseen critical information technology initiatives. Previously, Wayne served as the Head of Information Technology at AGRF from April 2009 to August 2013, managing IT services and software development teams while addressing challenges related to advanced genetic sequencing technology. Earlier in Wayne's career, roles included Senior Systems Engineer and Security Manager at CommSec/IWL from 2001 to 2008, where integration of new businesses was a key focus, and Network Manager at AusSoft Solutions Pty Ltd from 1997 to 2000. Wayne holds a Bachelor of Computer Science with a specialization in Networking and Communications from La Trobe University.
