Caroline Jacobson

Caroline Jacobson is currently the Head of School (Dean) of Agricultural Science at Murdoch University, a position held since 2002, where responsibilities include leading academic and operational strategy and ensuring financial sustainability. Jacobson's research focuses on enhancing the sustainability and profitability of livestock farming, with a special emphasis on livestock health and production, while also teaching veterinary and animal science students. Additional roles include membership on various committees such as the Western Australian Livestock Research Council and the Industry Management Committee for the Sheep and Goat Industry Funding Scheme. Jacobson holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Veterinary Science, a Bachelor's degree in Veterinary Medicine and Surgery with First Class Merit Honours, and a Bachelor's degree in Veterinary Biology from Murdoch University, and is actively advancing professional development through the Company Directors Course.
