Ana Chang has worked in a variety of roles in the tech industry since 2000. Ana began their career as a Software Engineer Intern at Hewlett-Packard, followed by a Development Intern on C++ Backend Team at Microsoft in 2001. In 2004, they interned at Fuji Xerox Palo Alto Laboratory. From 2007 to 2009, they worked at Intel Research as an Intern and then at Oracle as a User Experience Designer and Product Manager from 2009 to 2014. Ana then moved to Simple Energy as a User Experience Designer from 2014 to 2015, before taking a position as a Front End Software Engineer at SendGrid in 2015. From 2016 to 2018, they worked at LogRhythm as a Software Engineer, and then moved to Workday as a Senior Software Engineer, Principal Software Engineer, and finally Software Engineer from 2018 to 2022. Currently, they are working as a Software Engineer at Murmur.

Ana Chang completed their Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Carnegie Mellon University in 2002. Ana then attended the University of California, Berkeley, where they obtained a Ph.D. and MS in Computer Science and Human Computer Interaction in 2008. In 2014, they obtained a certification in Graphic Design from Sessions College for Professional Design.
