Eric Spears

Eric Spears is a partner at Murphy Austin Adams Schoenfeld LLP, where a broad-based business practice involves advising companies and individuals on entity formation, governance, mergers and acquisitions, and intellectual property matters, among others. Prior to this role, Eric Spears served as an attorney at Boutin Jones Inc. and gained invaluable experience as a legal intern at Funding Circle US, where regulatory compliance and contract preparation were primary responsibilities. Eric Spears also contributed to the judicial process as a judicial extern at the San Francisco Superior Court and supported the development of legal skills as a teaching assistant at UC Hastings College of the Law. Eric Spears earned a Juris Doctor, cum laude, from the University of California, Hastings College of the Law, and holds a Bachelor of Arts with Highest Honors in Political Science and Honors in History from the University of California, Davis.
