Alec Johnson P.E. is a seasoned engineer with extensive experience in the oil and gas industry. Currently serving as a Senior Facilities Engineer at Murphy Oil Corporation since May 2019, Alec previously held the position of Senior Mechanical Engineer at Petrobras America Inc. from November 2007 to May 2019, where responsibilities included the role of Topsides Engineer on the Cascade & Chinook FPSO in the Gulf of Mexico. Prior to that, Alec worked as a Senior Project Engineer at Solar Turbines from June 2000 to November 2007, focusing on the detailed engineering of turbine compressor and turbine generator facilities. Alec holds a Master of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Mississippi State University, obtained between 1989 and 1995.
